City of Angels – This Tony Award-winning Best Musical is a deliciously funny spoof of 1940s film noir and hard-boiled detective fiction. In glamorous 1940s Hollywood, a young novelist is attempting to write a screenplay for a fast-talking Hollywood producer while trying to maintain his artistic integrity and marriage. As he creates the story about a private detective, the characters come to life on stage.Orchestra Personnel:Musical Director: Alby PottsReed 1 (Piccolo, Flute, Clarinet, Alto Sax): Gary RautenbergReed 2 (Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, Alto Sax): Dave HillReed 3 (Clarinet, Tenor Sax): Darryl TanikawaReed 4 (Bass Clarinet, Baritone Sax, Clarinet): Matt GermaineTrumpet I, Flugelhorn: Bob AllenTrumpet II, Flugelhorn: Scott WrightTrumpet III, Flugelhorn: Barbara LarongaTrombone: June SattonBass Trombone: Lori StuntzViolin I, Concertmaster: Richard AdkinsViolin II: Sharon CooperViola: Marisa McLeodCello: Rachel CoosaiaPiano: Madeline MyersKeyboard Synthesizer: Bill FultonAcoustic & Electric Guitars: Brian ReardonUpright Double & Electric Bass: John SmithSet Drums: Jeremy ReinboltPercussion: Paul Sternhagen
