Meanwhile, Fulton’s note records a piece of the property’s former nightlife: an Accent engagement in the 19th Hole lounge.

Fulton’s original event note says the 19th Hole no longer exists. It also wonders whether the lounge space may have continued under another name. Rather than speculate, however, the surviving facts provide the story. Accent appeared at the Westlake Golf Course address, Fulton was on keys, and Ronnie Crumbly was on saxophone. As a result, those details distinguish the engagement from the fuller Accent lineup documented at Cheers in Simi Valley.
