Bill Fulton Live: Keyboard Performance in Encino This Sunday
I am thrilled to invite you to a special musical service this Sunday, June 14, at 10:00 AM. Specifically, I will be performing live at the 1st Presbyterian Church of Encino. I am joining an incredible lineup of local musicians for a morning filled with powerful, uplifting music. Therefore, whether you live in the San Fernando Valley or want to tune in from afar, I would love for you to share this experience with us.
My Keyboard Role and the Live Band Setup
I will be taking command of the electronic keyboards for this service. Additionally, I will be working alongside the church’s fantastic resident pianist. We are not playing alone, though. Instead, we are anchoring a massive, high-energy worship ensemble. This large group includes a full live band and a talented lineup of vocalists.
Blending the acoustic piano with modern electronic keyboards allows us to create rich, contemporary layers. Furthermore, when you back that setup with a driving rhythm section and soaring vocals, the energy in the room becomes incredible.
What I Am Bringing to the Bench
Many of you follow my work as a professional composer, arranger, and jazz musician. Consequently, you know how much I love collaborative, large-scale live performances. Over the years, I have had the privilege of scoring television networks like Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. I have also led big bands across Southern California’s premier jazz venues. Bringing those diverse musical worlds into a live ensemble setting is always a joy. I cannot wait to share what we have put together.
The Beautiful Worship Space and Sanctuary
If you are able to attend the performance in person, you are in for a wonderful treat. The service takes place inside an award-winning sanctuary designed by Abramson Teiger. This beautiful space features soaring wood-paneled ceilings. It also features massive geometric windows that flood the entire room with natural morning light. More importantly for the band, the acoustics are absolutely phenomenal for a live rhythm section and vocal ensemble.
