Bill Fulton on keys or piano with Accent

Accent with Ronnie Crumbly and Bill Fulton recalls a night with Accent at Westlake Golf Course’s former 19th Hole lounge. The archived listing names Fulton on keys and Ronnie Crumbly on saxophone. Together, they form the central musical pairing preserved from the engagement.

The surviving record does not provide a complete personnel roster. Unlike the fuller Cheers listings, it does not name a drummer, bassist or vocalist. However, it clearly identifies Accent, Fulton and Crumbly at the 19th Hole. Those details preserve a snapshot of the group’s appearance at the Westlake Village venue.

Accent at the 19th Hole

The larger property remains active today. Westlake Golf Course lists 4812 Lakeview Canyon Rd. as its current Westlake Village address. Fulton’s event record adds a musical footnote to that location. At the time, the 19th Hole also figured into the property’s evening entertainment.

Fulton’s original event note says the 19th Hole no longer exists. It also raises the possibility that another operation later used the lounge space. However, the surviving record does not settle that question. Instead, the documented facts tell the story. Accent appeared at the Westlake Golf Course address, Fulton played keys, and Ronnie Crumbly played saxophone.

Those details also distinguish this engagement from Accent’s appearances at Cheers in Simi Valley. The surviving Cheers records identify a larger lineup. By contrast, the Westlake entry offers a more concise glimpse of the band’s performing history.
