Gina Eckstine at Papashon

The 1996 appearance was one of Fulton’s professional engagements with Eckstine. Gina is the daughter of vocalist Billy Eckstine, whose recordings and performances made him a prominent figure in American popular music and jazz. Her own career included live performances as a singer. The date at Papashon places the collaboration in a restaurant setting rather than a formal concert hall.

However, the venue’s closure means that readers should treat the street address as a historical location, not as a currently operating business. The available event details identify the performers, date, and location; they do not establish the evening’s song list or other musicians.

Bill Fulton’s Los Angeles performances

For Fulton, playing with vocalists was one part of a wider career that also included composing, arranging, and keyboard work. His keyboardist and pianist credits offer more information about that work. This engagement adds another date to his history of live performances in Southern California.
