"Standardized" Performed by CSULB Concert Jazz Orchestra

I am thrilled to share that my big band composition, “Standardized,” is featured on the CSULB Bob Cole Conservatory of Music Concert Jazz Orchestra’s album, High and Mighty.

To say I am impressed by these student musicians would be an understatement. The performance delivered by the conservatory students is, without exception, the absolute best execution of this piece I have ever heard. The precision, energy, and musicality they brought to the recording session truly rival—and possibly outdo—the performances I’ve heard from seasoned professional musicians at Los Angeles Local 47 rehearsals.
