Fin’s Seafood Grill in Westlake Village
The City of Westlake Village describes a community shaped by master planning that started in the 1960s. The city incorporated in 1981 on the Los Angeles County side of the area. By the era of Fulton’s Fin’s appearances, Westlake Village had become a settled commercial and residential center. Restaurants such as Fin’s formed part of that local entertainment landscape.
In addition, the Fin’s appearances fit into Fulton’s larger schedule as a working pianist and keyboardist. His keyboardist and pianist credits trace other live engagements with singers, bands, and instrumentalists. At Fin’s, the personnel changed often enough to give individual dates their own lineups. The recurring setting makes those personnel changes especially noticeable. This appearance preserves the specific combination named for this engagement.
This appearance stands apart through its particular personnel and payment details. Fulton’s recurring work at Fin’s produced many similar-looking dates, but the lineup could change from one booking to the next. In addition, those specifics give the individual engagement its own identity without overstating what the available information can prove.
