Bill Fulton on keys or piano with Accent
Bill Fulton and Ronnie Crumbly at Westlake recalls a night with Accent at the former 19th Hole lounge at Westlake Golf Course. The archived listing names Fulton on keys and Ronnie Crumbly on saxophone. Together, they form the central musical pairing documented for the engagement.
The surviving entry does not include a complete personnel roster. Unlike the fuller Cheers listings, it names no drummer, bassist or vocalist. However, the record clearly identifies Accent, Fulton and Crumbly at the 19th Hole. Those details preserve the essential billing without adding musicians that the original listing does not identify.
Accent at the 19th Hole
The larger property remains active. Westlake Golf Course lists 4812 Lakeview Canyon Road as its current Westlake Village address. Fulton’s event entry adds a musical footnote to that location. During this period, the 19th Hole also figured into the area’s evening entertainment scene.
Fulton’s original event note says the 19th Hole no longer exists. It also raises the possibility that the lounge later continued under another name. However, the surviving record offers no confirmation. Instead, the known facts tell the story. Accent appeared at the Westlake Golf Course address, with Fulton on keys and Ronnie Crumbly on saxophone. Those details distinguish this engagement from the fuller Accent lineup documented at Cheers in Simi Valley.
