Over the decades, it became a gathering spot for Hollywood stars and industry professionals. For example, guests like Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart, and Katharine Hepburn often spent time there. Because the lounge regularly hosted live music, it was a natural fit for a working pianist like Bill Fulton.
