A straightforward (pun intended) uptempo swing arrangement of Thelonious Monk’s iconic jazz standard. Built for high energy on the bandstand, this little big band chart gives everyone a chance to shine with open solos for all, leading into an exciting shout chorus, a feature drum solo, and a wondrous, startling ending guaranteed to leave an impression.

Note: While featured vocalist Jeff Robinson performed on the original CD release, he sang from memory during the session. No written vocal part is included; this chart is structured purely as an instrumental feature for the 6-horn little big band ensemble.
